Disney Imagineer named Lanny Smoot has developed a walking device for Virtual Reality experience that is taking gamers and tech enthusiasts by storm. Lanny has named the device “HoloTile” that is a Omnidirectional treadmill system that helps you walk in the Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality without actually walking forward or backward i.e. moving in the same spot, taking a small space.

What is HoloTile and How does it Work?

HoloTile is a treadmill system of small rotational, round tiles that work together to create a multi-directional treadmill that allows users to independently move and navigate in AR/VR world, adjusting their movement, rotation and position, while staying in the same spot.
