Indian Man Vispy Kharadi Sets World Record for Holding Hercules Pillar, Elon Must reacts

The video of Vispy Kharadi, who has set a Guinness World Record by holding Hercules Pillars for two minutes and 10.75 seconds in Surat, Gujarat has gained significant attention with over 11 Million views online.

A video of Vispy Kharadi went viral on social media shared by Guinness Book of World Records official account in which he was seen holding Hercules two Pillars with his hand, with his superhero-like body, impressed the netizens and also caught eyes of celebrities like Elon Must and Akshay Kumar who praised and congratulated him.

The World Record event was held in the city of Surat in Gujarat, India where Vispy Kharadi held the Hercules Pillar that measured 123 inche in height 20.5-inch diameter, weighed 166.7 kg and 168.9 kg.

Guinness World Record was set by holding Hercules Pillars for two minutes and 10.75 seconds.

Who is Vispy Kharadi?

Kharadi’s bio on X says that he is a multiple black belt holder, 16 times Guinness World Record holder, trainer unarmed combat for the Border Security Force (BSF), fitness expert, nutritionist, an actor and a model.

His previous records include most drink cans crushed by hand in one minute. He also holds the record of most iron bars bent in a minute with head. Kharadi has been conferred the title of ‘Steel Man of India’.

Praised By Elon Musk

The video of the event was shared by Guinness Book of World Records official X and Instagram that got over 27 million views combined. It caught the eyes of Elon Musk who had reshared the video by Guinness World Records.

Vispy was delighted when he got to know that he was tweeted by Elon Musk himself and shared a video addressing that on his X account. In the video, he address that Elon Musk shared his video and thanked him. He also showed the screen-record of Elon Musk’s x account where Elon posted about him.

Vispy was also praised by Akshay Kumar on X. He Said: “Huge congratulations, Vispy, Mehul & team! What an incredible display of strength and determination. Proud to see you all push the limits and make India proud!” .

The Record also attracted Jealousy and Racism from Foreigners

With the limelight the Vispy was getting from the World Record, the video also got some negativity and racism from foreigners as usual when they see any Indian performing well. They can’t digest the fact that an Indian man can be that strong. They questioned the realness of the record and also did racist remarks like “Why is he (Vispy) White?, He is not Indian” and some people saying the he is enhancement drug.

A man on X said “Why does this white man have an Indian name? He is not Indian”.

More than the negativity, people praised Vispy for his strength and Indians praised him for representing India on this next level record and making India proud. Few shared hilarious meme pics.
